STEWARDSHIP WORKSHOP
The Diocese of Eau Claire has been invited to attend a Stewardship Seminar presented by the Wisconsin United Methodist Foundation and the Wisconsin Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. According to Father Art Hancock, President of the Standing Committee, the vast majority of the material will not be specific to the United Methodist Church, but some may be. “This is a good opportunity for both clergy and lay leaders”, Fr. It contains the letter sent out to be read or circulated in all the congregations of the diocese with the list of options being researched by the Task Force. Please be assured that the Task Force is only gathering information to be presented to a Convention of the diocese; it is NOT making any decisions about which option is the most appropriate for the diocese. ONLY a Convention of the diocese can decide which option will provide the best structure that will enable our congregations to continue as viable Christian communities in the Episcopal Church.
